Specially trained Peregrine falcons, Gyrfalcons, Goshawks or Harris hawks have an immediate impact on pest bird populations, clearing an area almost instantly and making any bird colony nervous to return to a site.

These birds are most commonly used on ‘open’ buildings or large sites such as landfills, power stations and sports stadiums.

OUR FALCONRY BIRD CONTROL SERVICES

At first, our birds of prey have to be flown regularly in treatment areas. This is usually around three times a week for the first week, with the frequency of flights reducing during the following weeks as the pest birds become warier of the predators.

Our specialist ‘night-strike’ teams also take advantage of the darkness to scare pest birds, preventing them from settling even in their most established nesting places throughout the breeding season.
